Introduction

Together, we’re working to welcome millions more passengers, while ensuring aviation can continue to be a force for good by leading global efforts in sustainability. At Heathrow, you can be part of this – providing solutions that make every journey better for millions each year. That means ensuring we meet the changing needs of the passengers, colleagues and partners who use our airport to work, travel, trade, shop, eat, explore and connect. Our Solutions team covers project management, process improvement, business change, technology, cyber defence, masterplanning, infrastructure and procurement. It brings together people with the skills to deliver prestigious and often large-scale projects, from transforming terminals to making big reductions in our carbon emissions.

Every day will test your skills and give you the opportunity to make your mark. You might be working with the technology and data that power our city within a city, driving vital commercial agreements with everyone from retailers to airlines, or improving the unique infrastructure that includes everything from 200 buildings to 250 HV substations. It’s a collaborative environment, where you can rely on the support of the experts around you as you take on projects you’ll both take pride in and feel passionate about.

Job Description

We are looking for a PMO Manager to help shape and strengthen how Heathrow delivers change across our organisation. You will join our Solutions function, working closely with colleagues from Strategy, People, Finance, and our senior leadership team.

Your work will help us connect and improve the Heathrow Change Portfolio – ensuring that programmes are aligned, insight is clear, and that we are making informed decisions that deliver meaningful outcomes for our customers, communities and colleagues.

This role would suit someone who enjoys bringing clarity to complex information, building trusted relationships, and using evidence to drive better decisions.

Your role will involve

  • Designing and producing clear, insightful reporting for senior leaders, highlighting risks, trends and recommended actions.
  • Working with programme teams and business partners to ensure performance, benefits and outcomes stay on track.
  • Leading and embedding Portfolio Management Office standards, processes and ways of working.
  • Triaging and analysing data to identify cross‑cutting issues and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborating with the Head of PMO to champion our Benefits Management approach across strategic programmes.

These Skills Are Essential

  • Ability to analyse complex data and create clear, evidence‑based insights that support effective decision‑making.
  • Experience delivering or supporting change portfolios or programmes, with a good understanding of how organisations manage performance, risks and dependencies.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, with the confidence to engage senior stakeholders and challenge constructively.
  • Ability to design and deliver high‑quality reporting, dashboards or briefing packs for senior or executive audiences.
  • Collaborative working style, able to build positive relationships across multiple teams and functions.
  • Adaptability and problem‑solving skills, including the ability to move between detailed tasks and broader strategic thinking.
