The Role

We are looking for a Senior Java Fullstack Engineer to join an agile delivery team working on customer-facing enterprise and web-based platforms.

In this role, you will collaborate directly with stakeholders and clients, translating business requirements into robust, scalable software solutions. You will contribute across the full development lifecycle and play an active role in improving engineering practices, quality standards, and team performance.

This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who enjoys working close to customers while building modern, production-grade systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable Java-based backend and fullstack solutions for customer projects
• Collaborate closely with customers to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions
• Develop clean, maintainable, and testable code using modern engineering best practices
• Work in close collaboration with team members using pair- and mob-programming approaches
• Support the full software lifecycle from concept and development through deployment and production support
• Apply DevOps principles and contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automation
• Implement automated testing and quality assurance practices such as test-driven development
• Share knowledge within the team and stay up to date with modern frameworks and technologies

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
• 2+ years of professional experience working with Java in production environments
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and software design principles
• Experience building fullstack applications using modern frontend frameworks (Angular, React, TypeScript, or similar)
• Hands-on experience with technologies such as Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, REST APIs, relational and NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with microservices architectures, messaging systems, container platforms, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or similar)
• Experience working in agile development teams
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Fluent in German and English (minimum C1 level)
