Cybersecurity Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Engineer to strengthen our network security infrastructure, with expertise in Palo Alto Networks next-generation firewall technologies and proven hands-on security operations experience.

Primary Responsibilities

Core Focus Areas:

• Design and implement advanced security architectures using Palo Alto Networks NGFW
• Lead security incident response and threat hunting initiatives
• Optimize firewall performance through policy tuning and best practices
• Develop security automation scripts and workflows
• Mentor junior team members on security operations
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
• Create and maintain security documentation and runbooks
• Collaborate with SOC team for 24/7 security monitoring

Required Qualifications

Experience

• 3+ years hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls
• Proven track record in enterprise security environments
• Experience with security incident management

Technical Expertise

• Deep knowledge of Palo Alto NGFW (PAN-OS, Panorama)
• Strong understanding of threat prevention and URL filtering
• Network protocols (TCP/IP, SSL/TLS, IPSec)
• SIEM integration and log analysis

Certification Requirement

Any ONE of the following (with valid evidence):

• PCNSE (Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer)
• PCNSA (Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Administrator)
• PCCSE (Prisma Certified Cloud Security Engineer
