We're looking for a dedicated consultant to join our client's team as they focus on enhancing software quality through rigorous testing. The individual in this role will be fundamental in ensuring that software products, web applications, and microservices function as intended, and provide an excellent user experience. This position is set within an Agile environment, where collaboration with a self-managing team will lead to continuous improvement and optimization.

The consultant will support the team by conducting functional and technical testing of the user stories developed during sprints. Key responsibilities include:
- Creating detailed test cases based on provided user stories, collaborating closely with the team.
- Executing test cases and ensuring the continuity and stability of final products.
- Reporting bugs and tracking their resolution.
- Preparing and managing test data as required.
- Identifying areas for automation and developing automated test cases for new applications and microservices.
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and traits:
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies and frameworks.
- Strong technical knowledge in tools and technologies, including Jira, Selenium, Cypress, Java, and SQL.
- Ability to draft comprehensive test plans and maintain efficient information exchange within the team.
- Strong analytical skills with a meticulous approach to tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset, driven to add value.
- Capable of functioning under pressure with a flexible approach to changing conditions.
To thrive in this role, the candidate should have:
- Advanced knowledge of Agile and Agile methodology.
- Experience with automated testing tools and CI/CD pipelines.
- Fluency in both Dutch (native or bilingual) and English (professional working proficiency). French is a plus.
- Familiarity with the following technologies is essential: Cucumber, Java, Selenium, Cypress, LambdaTest, Newman/Postman.
