Sony Europe are on the lookout a dynamic HR Generalist to play a pivotal role in supporting our employees and line managers across a broad spectrum of HR functions.

In this position, you will drive recruitment for junior level hires, onboard new starters, manage employee queries, and administer benefits and payroll processes.

You will serve as a trusted advisor on HR matters, ensuring compliance with labour laws and Health & Safety policies, while implementing company initiatives that create a positive and engaging workplace.

This role is a key point of contact for employees and managers alike, helping to align HR practices with business objectives and fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.

Your Role Will Involve

  • HR Support & Employee Lifecycle Management – Provide first-line HR support for employees and managers across onboarding, role changes, annual salary reviews, bonuses, and other HR queries, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
  • Query Ownership & Resolution – Take ownership of employee and manager queries, resolving them within defined SLAs and documenting learnings for process improvement.
  • Recruitment & Onboarding – Manage Grade 3 and below recruitment, including job postings, screening, interviews, hiring, and onboarding of new employees.
  • Employee Relations & Grievances – Address employee concerns, handle grievances in collaboration with ER and Compliance, and escalate complex cases when needed.
  • Compensation & Benefits Administration – Support payroll processes, administer employee benefits and pension plans, and ensure accurate payroll data input.
  • Performance Management & Development – Assist with performance evaluations, goal setting, performance improvement plans, and maintain training and development initiatives.
  • HR Systems & Compliance – Maintain HR information systems (Workday, HR Bot, SharePoint), ensure legal and policy compliance, and manage employee records and documentation.
  • Manager Guidance & Health & Safety – Provide guidance to managers on HR, employee relations, and compliance issues, and implement activities in line with Health and Safety policies.

You Will Bring

  • Previous HR Generalist experience, ideally in a multicultural and matrix organization.
  • Comfortable working with large-scale, complex data.
  • Proven track record to deliver services and meet deadlines.
  • Strong prioritization, multitasking, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent analytical, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced, growing environment.
  • Self-starter with the ability to handle complex situations.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in other European languages is a plus.
  • Highly skilled in Microsoft Office tools.
