The role:
As a Python Engineer, you will be part of the AI team responsible for integrating advanced AI solutions into our infrastructure. Your main focus will be designing and developing services that incorporate large language models (LLMs) into our platform. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will help ensure these AI solutions are reliable, scalable, and deliver meaningful value to our users.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy AI-driven services, building and evaluating solutions that effectively integrate AI models into our infrastructure.
- Design, implement, and sustain services utilizing Large Language Models (LLMs) to improve customer service processes and efficiency.
- Design and conduct experiments to assess the performance and effectiveness of different AI solutions.
- Work closely with various departments to understand business requirements and translate them into AI solutions that enhance customer service.
- Offer technical support and guidance to team members on AI-related projects, including data engineering, algorithm selection, deep learning engineering, and natural language processing.
- Continuously monitor the latest developments in AI, machine learning, and natural language processing to enhance our AI capabilities.
- Minimum of 3 years working with Python 3, including personal projects.
- Python Proficiency, strong grasp of syntax, data structures, standard libraries, and object-oriented programming (OOP).
- Experience with RAG and MCPs
- Experience scraping & processing various media such as websites, PDFs, and Word documents
- Intermediate knowledge of functional programming paradigms.
- Familiarity with Python's asyncio library and async/await syntax.
- Proficiency in statically typed Python, including the use of type hints and annotations.
- Experience with tools like mypy, flake8, and other static analysis utilities.
- Competence in writing unit and integration tests, with familiarity in the pytest framework.
- Proficiency with Git, including branching, merging, and conflict resolution.
- Understanding of RESTful API principles and best practices.
- Machine learning knowledge/experience
- Experience with DSPyExperience with the OpenAI API.
- Familiarity with GitLab, AWS or Pulumi.
- Understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines CI/CD.
- Knowledge of Docker fundamentals and Docker Compose.
