As our Cloud Security Engineer, you'll strengthen and protect our information systems and help us keep our platform secure and resilient as we grow to millions of investors.
Do you enjoy diving deep into the technical side of cybersecurity and designing secure infrastructure while also ensuring that systems and processes meet regulatory requirements? If you're a proactive problem-solver with strong technical skills and a solid grasp of industry standards and regulations, this role could be the next step in your career.
If this is the kind of problem you want to solve, let's talk.
What You'll Do
As our Cloud Security Engineer, you'll focus on the technical aspects of our information system security, improving defences and security monitoring, detecting and addressing vulnerabilities, and responding to incidents, while ensuring alignment with relevant security regulations and standards. You'll work closely with Engineering, Product, and Risk teams to keep our platform secure and compliant as we scale.
You will:
- Build and improve security management infrastructure and tools (AWS, CI/CD, Google WS, MS365)
- Perform deep-dive technical risk assessments
- Automate security monitoring and reporting (secret scanning, application/container scanning, etc.) and introduce or enhance security practices (e.g. vulnerability management and threat modelling)
- Implement and manage tools for automated secure development practices
- Advise teams on selecting, implementing, and configuring relevant IT security tools to meet best-practice standards
- Actively participate in incident response: detection, containment, investigation, and recovery
- Investigate alerts and incidents, refine detection rules, and drive continuous improvement
- Facilitate security awareness through training, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration
Must-haves
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, system and network management, compliance, or related roles (experience in a regulated company within the financial services industry is a bonus)
- Hands-on experience with key AWS services (e.g., IAM, VPC, CloudWatch)
- Proficiency in programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, Ruby, Go, Java)
- Strong communication skills in English and Latvian, both written and spoken
- Ability to work independently, prioritise effectively, and take initiative
- Experience with automation and configuration management tools, including Terraform, Ansible, or similar
- Good knowledge of relevant security standards and laws (e.g., CIS, OWASP, GDPR); knowledge of regulations related to the financial services industry (e.g., DORA) will be a bonus; relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Security, Security+, CEH) will be a bonus

🌴Generous vacation policy. Rest and recovery are essential. We don't limit vacation to the minimum required by law. Take the time you need to recharge and come back refreshed.
🧠Learning and growth. An annual €1,200 learning budget to support your professional and personal growth. Whether you want to explore something new or deepen your expertise, we'll support you along the way.
