Who We Are
We are looking for an experienced Data Modeler to design and develop scalable data models with a strong emphasis on Data Vault methodology. The ideal candidate will play a key role in optimizing data structures, maintaining modeling standards, and ensuring integration with data pipelines to support analytics and reporting needs.
What You’ll Be Doing
We are looking for an experienced Data Modeler to design and develop scalable data models with a strong emphasis on Data Vault methodology. The ideal candidate will play a key role in optimizing data structures, maintaining modeling standards, and ensuring integration with data pipelines to support analytics and reporting needs.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Designing and implementing robust data models, focusing on Data Vault as the primary methodology
- Collaborating with data engineering teams to integrate models into ETL pipelines
- Reviewing and optimizing existing data models for scalability and performance
- Establishing and maintaining data modeling standards and documentation, including ER diagrams and data dictionaries
- Working with stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective data models
- Mentoring junior data modelers and team members while fostering best practices
- Supporting risk assessments and ensuring compliance with organizational standards
- Adapting and evolving models to address changing business needs and technologies
- Minimum 5 years of data modeling experience, with 2+ years using Data Vault techniques
- Expertise in data modeling tools (e.g., ERWIN) and relational/dimensional database design
- Strong background in cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Excellent command of both spoken and written English
- Familiarity with Synapse, Delta Lake, Power BI is nice to have
