Our client is looking for an experienced professional to join their internal audit function in Bucharest, where the focus goes far beyond routine reviews. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver diverse audits across international operations, addressing financial, operational, and compliance risk areas.
• Provide insightful, data-driven recommendations that support senior management in strengthening governance and risk management.
• Partner with cross-border teams to enhance control frameworks and embed best practices across the business.
• Apply modern audit techniques, leveraging analytics and digital solutions to drive efficiency and agility.
• Contribute to the ongoing transformation of audit practices, while supporting knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team.

Key Requirements

• Degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field—or equivalent professional background.
• Professional certifications such as CA, ACCA, CPA, CIA, or CISA.
• Solid experience in internal audit, finance, or commercial functions, underpinned by strong technical understanding of controls and accounting principles.
• Experience from a Big 4 environment is highly regarded.
• Familiarity with data and analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Alteryx) is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel internationally, up to 50%, as part of a truly global remit.
