About The Role

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Game Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in enhancing core gameplay features, designing engaging content, and supporting LiveOps activities to ensure our games remain fresh and captivating for players. You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, artists, and analysts to implement features, analyze player behavior, and optimize game balance and economy. This position offers a unique opportunity for individuals at the beginning of their game design careers to gain hands-on experience working within a professional environment. Your contributions will directly impact the player experience and the overall success of our projects, providing valuable insights into free-to-play game mechanics and live service management.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of game design principles and processes
• Familiarity with game development tools such as Unity, Figma, Miro, Notion, or Google Sheets
• Knowledge of product metrics, funnels, and game economy fundamentals
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret player data
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Prior experience with game prototypes, levels, or analysis from game jams is a plus
• Basic scripting or logic knowledge is advantageous
• Interest in free-to-play (F2P) game mechanics and live operations
  
  

Responsibilities

• Participate in improving core gameplay elements including game cycles, progression systems, and onboarding processes
• Prepare detailed design documentation such as PRDs, feature descriptions, balance tables, and game economy notes
• Develop and refine small features, events, and limited-time modes like missions, boosters, and offers
• Assist in LiveOps planning, setup, and content updates, providing quality assurance support
• Analyze player behavior through funnels, retention, engagement, and monetization metrics, and propose improvements
• Study and document insights from our games and competitors to inform design decisions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams during product releases to ensure smooth implementation
• Contribute to the continuous enhancement of user experience and game balance based on data and feedback
