Now we are looking for a Junior Data Extraction Specialist to join the team in Vilnius, Lithuania.

ABOUT THE TEAM:

We are looking for a Junior Data Extraction Specialist, who could join a large Data Extraction team and help us to collect the data in all possible ways. We scrape, we use API, we use exclusive partnerships to get the data, and trust us, there’s a lot that we could teach about it.

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

• Building new internet crawlers/robots (C#)
• Maintaining and optimizing existing internet crawlers/robots
• Analyzing data sources and finding the best ways to extract information
• Get to know internal tools and monitoring systems
• Solve easy and mid-level tasks

IF YOU HAVE:

• Fundamentals and basic skills in any object-oriented programming language
• A very structured and analytical way of working
• Logical thinking, persistence, attention to detail
• Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English

WOULD BE BENEFICIAL:

• Experience with C#
• Experience working with Regular Expressions
• Basic knowledge of MS SQL
• Knowledge of HTTP protocol (Request/Response, Cookies, Sessions, etc.)
• Knowledge of data markup languages (XML/JSON/HTML)
• Knowledge of APIs (REST, SOAP)
