Requirements:
Core Skills:
- 2+ years of experience with .NET (C#): Solid understanding of the .NET framework, object-oriented programming, and best practices for building web applications.
- ASP.NET Core: Familiarity with developing web APIs and services using ASP.NET Core, with a focus on RESTful architecture.
- Entity Framework: Working knowledge of Entity Framework or similar ORM tools for database interaction.
- Version Control: Competent with Git for code management and collaboration.
Relational Databases and Messaging:
- Good understanding of relational databases like PostgreSQL or SQL Server, including writing queries and improving performance.
- Experience with messaging systems like Pub/Sub, RabbitMQ, or similar, for managing asynchronous communication.
Nice-to-Haves (But Not Required):
- Cloud Platforms: Some experience with cloud services (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) for application hosting and scaling.
- Frontend Skills: Exposure to front end technologies such as React, Angular, or Blazor for building full-stack applications.
- Testing: Basic familiarity with unit testing (e.g., xUnit, NUnit) and integration testing.
- Monitoring and Observability: Understanding of monitoring tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana) to help maintain application performance and reliability.
- CI/CD Pipelines: Some experience with continuous integration and deployment tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) for automating build and deployment processes.
