Role Overview: In your role, reporting to the Cloud AWS Team Lead, you will work on Level 3 bases, on Operations and Project related activities within the newly established India IT Hub for our Cloud AWS services.
You are an experienced level 3 on Cloud AWS Services and will work on complex incidents and changes, Cloud AWS governance, automation frameworks.
The SLS Infrastructure team will be operating on global bases, covering multiple time zones, delivering our services. Working in different shifts (rotating on regular basis) will be part of the position.
In addition, you will play a role in supporting the SLS Infrastructure transition to migrate Infrastructure services from external providers and/or business units to the in-house team, ensuring full alignment with global standards

Key Responsibilities:Leadership & People Development
- Coach and guide level 2 team members and share knowledge and best practices.
- Define objectives and monitor KPIs, ensuring accountability for service quality and promoting a culture of continuous improvement
- Encourage open communication and regular feedback within the team to identify areas for growth and address challenges promptly
- Promote diversity and inclusion by recognising individual strengths and fostering a supportive environment where every team member feels valued
Service Delivery & Compliance
- Contribute on Infrastructure Cloud AWS Service delivery in line with ITIL best practices and procedures for service request, incident, problem, change, and release management
- Ensure compliance and performance, adhering to global Infrastructure governance, security, and operational standards, monitoring, patching, and implementing corrective actions
- Ensure continuous improvement with standardization, automation, decrease of support level.
- Contribute to team mindset on excellence in service quality and continuous improvement, within the OneITeam community
- Actively contribute and/or take the technical lead during escalation and major incident/P1 process and follow-up
- Ensure that documentation (SOP, HLD, LLD, …) is up to date
- Write non-standard changes and present team in SLS and Global CAB
- Define operations policies, SLOs, ensure tagging standards
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Mandatory Skills:
- Mandatory certification on ITIL or service management principles.
- Good knowledge on following Cloud AWS services:
- AWS Architecture: understand AWS Landing Zones (Hub & Spoke).
- Compute: EC2, Auto Scaling, ECS/Fargate, EKS, Lambda.
- Networking: VPC design, subnets, routing, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, Load Balancers (ALB/NLB), CloudFront.
- Storage & Databases: S3, EFS, FSx, RDS/Aurora.
- Security: IAM, Organizations, SCPs, Secrets Manager, KMS, GuardDuty.
- Monitoring & Observability: CloudWatch, CloudTrail, logging and alarms strategy.
- Automation: CloudFormation, Terraform, CLI, Powershell.
Good to have Skills:
- Familiarity with ITSM and CMDB tools (ServiceNow)
- Able to work within the mindset of a global operating company with the need/target of standardization and automation of Infrastructure services
- Able to actively contribute major incidents, ensure that root causes of issues are identified and that effective mitigations are applied
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Passion for data and continuous learning
- Educational qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
