Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding:
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including advertising, screening, and interviewing.
- Coordinate seamless onboarding for new employees, including contracts and inductions.
Payroll & Benefits:
- Support accurate and timely payroll processing in liaison with the payroll provider.
- Administer employee benefits, including health insurance and salary packaging.
HR Administration:
- Maintain accurate employee records and update HRIS data.
- Ensure compliance with the Privacy Act and company policies.
Compliance & Employee Relations:
- Provide frontline advice on HR policies, pay, and conditions.
- Assist with performance management and ensure compliance with Fair Work legislation.
Training & Engagement:
- Organise training sessions and support employee engagement initiatives.
- Reporting:
- Prepare HR and payroll reports for management review.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of HR generalist experience with hands-on payroll support, preferably in Australia.
- Strong knowledge of Australian employment law and payroll compliance.
- Proficient in HRIS, payroll software, and MS Office.
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
- High level of discretion with confidential information.
