About the Role:
The Security Operations Manager is the key driver of campus security across CDC's portfolio, ensuring all physical and electronic security systems operate to CDC standards. You'll oversee security operations across multiple CDC campuses - managing vendor performance, coordinating daily security activities, and optimising a 24 x 7 x 365 operational security environment.
Acting as the central point of contact for security-related matters, you'll work closely with Facilities and Operations teams, and contracted providers to maintain safe, compliant and efficient campuses.
Other responsibilities include:
- Oversee security operations across multiple campuses, including guarding services, guard house activities and day‑to‑day site security processes.
- Manage electronic security systems - digital surveillance, access control and alarms, in partnership with specialist vendors.
- Coordinate daily operational activities such as access management, incident oversight, visitor processes and CCTV monitoring.
- Collaborate closely with the Facilities teams to maintain consistent security standards and strong on‑site ownership.
- Ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory and ISO‑aligned security requirements through accurate reporting and documentation.
- Analyse operational and performance data to identify process improvements and enhance customer experience.
- Engage effectively with internal teams across engineering, operations, governance and customer groups to support seamless multi‑site security delivery.
- Support the continuous optimisation of a 24 x 7 x 365 operational security function within a rapidly growing organisation.

Essential:
Australian Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a NV1 Security Clearance.
