Senior Network Engineer – Defence 6 Month Contract (Strong Extension Potential) | Hybrid

We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to support a major defence-focused program.

This Role requires *NV1*

Key Responsibilities

Design and deliver complex LAN/WAN network solutions
Configure and deploy enterprise routing and switching environments
Implement and optimise routing protocols including OSPF, BGP, MPLS, STP, LACP, QoS and BFD
Design and deploy SD-WAN solutions
Implement firewalls and network security policies
Support carrier-grade IP MPLS/BGP platforms delivering Layer 2 and Layer 3 services
Produce high-quality technical documentation and network design artefacts
Support and maintain network gateway technologies (desirable)
Must hold NV1

Skills & Experience

Strong experience as a Senior Network Engineer in complex environments
Deep knowledge of LAN/WAN architecture
Advanced routing and switching experience
Experience with MPLS and BGP environments
Experience implementing firewalls and network security
Experience with SD-WAN technologies
Strong documentation and design skills
