The Global Service AI Project Manager is essential for defining, prioritizing, and executing AI‑driven initiatives that enhance automation, digitalization, and service performance across the global service organization while also driving AI‑enabled Service Growth by identifying, developing, and scaling new value‑adding service opportunities in close collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
This position reports to the Director Service Transformation and Digitalization and is part of the Global Service Organization. The role is located in Vienna and will be an on-site role.
In This Role, You Will
For this position, in accordance with the collective agreement for salaried employees in the metalworking industry, a minimum gross annual salary of € 75 000 (based on full-time employment) is stipulated. The actual remuneration depends on qualifications and professional experience and may significantly exceed the minimum salary.

In This Role, You Will
- Lead end‑to‑end AI‑related projects by defining scope, deliverables, timelines, and budgets.
- Identify, prioritize, and scale AI and automation opportunities across the global service organization.
- Manage cross‑functional collaboration as well as external partners and vendors.
- Monitor project progress, risks, and results, and communicate updates to stakeholders and leadership.
- Contribute hands‑on to technical development (e.g., scripts or prototypes) while ensuring compliance with data and regulatory standards
- Develops solid business and project plans in accordance with the Danaher Business System and sets KPIs and monitors success and sets priorities according to those KPIs
- Stay abreast of latest developments in AI technologies and how they can drive business outcomes in technical service organizations
- Proven experience in project management for AI, analytics, or digital transformation initiatives.
- Strong understanding of AI technologies and their application within service environments or comparable operational functions.
- Demonstrated ability to manage cross‑functional projects and external partnerships.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and modern project management tools.
- Ability to operate effectively in a global matrix organization and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Previous experience in the Life Science Research or Medical Device industry.
- Previous experience in providing digital services, such as software as a service (SaaS) product or gathering device telemetry for predictive maintainance
