๐ About the Role
We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with strong blockchain experience to join our high-impact infrastructure team. You will play a key role in designing, automating, and maintaining the systems that power our decentralized applications and blockchain nodes. ๐ ๏ธ
This role involves close collaboration with blockchain developers, security experts, and SREs to ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of our infrastructure. Youโll also lead initiatives around automation, monitoring, and incident response across multi-cloud environments.
๐ง Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable infrastructure for blockchain-based systems.
- Maintain and monitor blockchain nodes (Ethereum, Solana, Cosmos, etc.).
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for smart contracts and backend services.
- Automate infrastructure with IaC tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Pulumi.
- Implement observability using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog.
- Manage cloud resources across AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Containerize and orchestrate using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Apply best practices in infrastructure security and key management.
- Lead incident response, post-mortems, and system hardening.
- Collaborate with Dev, QA, and Security teams to deliver resilient systems.
โ Must-Have:
- 8+ years in DevOps/SRE/Infrastructure roles.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with blockchain infrastructure.
- Strong skills in AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.).
- Experience with Docker & Kubernetes.
- Strong scripting ability (Python, Bash, or similar).
- Deep understanding of networking, security, and Linux administration.
- Knowledge of running full blockchain nodes or validators.
๐ Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with PoS validator operations or staking infrastructure.
- Familiarity with Layer 2 networks (Arbitrum, Optimism, zkSync).
- Smart contract CI/CD integration (Solidity, Rust).
- Blockchain metrics tools (BlockScout, Tenderduty, Chainstack).
- DevOps certifications (e.g., AWS DevOps Engineer, CKA/CKAD).
- Experience in FinTech, DeFi, or regulated environments.
