Department: Auto Fund Delivery & Platform Delivery
Start Date: Earliest April 1, 2026
Engagement Length: Through March 31, 2027 (with potential extension)
Preference: Saskatchewan-based candidates working in Saskatchewan business hours
Software Architect
- Design scalable, secure, event-driven cloud architectures
- Guide microservices implementation and Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
- Ensure Azure-based infrastructure scalability and resilience
- Oversee authentication, monitoring, and integration strategies
Required Technical Stack

- Experience in regulated industries (insurance, banking, government)
- Experience supporting high-availability production systems
- Strong understanding of modern cloud-native architecture
- Comfortable working in distributed Agile product teams
- Ability to align technical delivery with business domains
Purpose of Engagement
This role will support enhanced production operations and ongoing development of SGI’s event-driven DRIVE platform, including:
- Event-based .NET architecture
- Azure development pipelines
- Microservices-based solutions
- Automated testing frameworks
- Domain-driven product structure
- Modern front-end and back-end frameworks
DRIVE Experience – Clarification
- Previous SGI DRIVE experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Candidates with similar public sector, insurance, banking, or regulated enterprise platform experience will be considered.
- Preference may be given to candidates with prior DRIVE exposure.
