Job Summary:
The Institutional Relations (IR) Coordinator will support stakeholder engagement and coordination activities to ensure timely alignment, approvals, and collaboration with national and international counterparts. The role involves managing communications with government entities, international organizations, and internal teams to support event coordination, approvals, and institutional partnerships. The candidate will work closely with the IR Manager to facilitate smooth coordination across multiple stakeholders and workstreams.
Mandatory Requirements & Qualification (Non-Negotiable):
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Public Policy, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field
- Master’s degree is an advantage
Experience:
- Minimum 4–7 years of experience in institutional relations, stakeholder engagement, government liaison, or similar roles
- Experience in international conferences, multilateral environments, or government coordination is preferred
Technical Skills:
- Strong formal writing skills in Arabic and English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with collaboration tools such as MS Teams or SharePoint
- Ability to prepare reports, stakeholder updates, and official correspondence
Mandatory Criteria:
- Minimum 4–7 years of experience in institutional relations, stakeholder engagement, government liaison, or similar roles.
- Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills
- Experience dealing with government entities, international organizations, or diplomatic missions
- Ability to work in high-level professional environments with confidentiality
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate engagement with assigned stakeholders including government entities, international organizations, and partners.
- Support cross-government coordination for approvals related to events, protocol, security, visas, logistics, and other services.
- Identify potential risks, delays, or bottlenecks and escalate issues to the IR Manager when required.
- Assist in stakeholder engagement planning, maintaining engagement calendars, records, and communication logs.
- Liaise with internal teams such as protocol, operations, communications, security, legal, and finance to ensure alignment.
- Coordinate preparation and routing of MoUs, cooperation letters, and official documents in collaboration with relevant departments.
- Prepare concise reports, stakeholder updates, briefing notes, and meeting summaries for leadership review.
