Frontend developer (Reactjs, GraphQL, Typescript, Next.js)

This is how you will reinvent food retail.

As a Frontend Developer, you will be part of the Digital Shop cluster, which is responsible for everything related to customer shopping—whether it’s managing orders, products, or enhancing our in-store handscanner experience. We're bringing all processes and systems towards cutting-edge technologies. In this role, you will play a key part in developing state-of-the-art applications that make shopping easier and more inspiring for millions of customers and use technologies like React, TypeScript, GraphQL, and (preferably) Next.js.

Your new team and office.

You will join the Assortment and Search team, which focuses on creating seamless digital experiences by building and maintaining functionalities such as the Search Page, Product Details Page, Brand Page, and more. This team works on inspiring projects that accelerate our transition into a hybrid Food & Tech company. At Albert Heijn, you will collaborate with talented peers across data, digital, and tech domains, all working toward a shared goal: to build digital solutions that make shopping simpler and more inspiring.

To become successful as our new team member, you will bring:

• 5+ years of experience in frontend development roles.
• Experience with React, Typescript, GraphQL and Node.js.
• Willingness to help not only your team but also the organization and actively participate in frontend chapter topics and improvements.
• Be a valued team member, that contributes and removes obstacles.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, including creating deployment scripts (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab).
• Build code, implement, and execute automated testing, ensure security and code quality, contribute to best practices and deployment.
• You live in the Netherlands (mandatory)

Bonus points for:

• Familiarity with Next.js.
• Experience working with design systems.
• Experience with Azure or any other cloud provider.
• Familiarity with the field of Retail Tech.
• Dutch language skills are a big plus.
