Who would you be working with?
Since 2010, we have grown to almost 800 people, more than 3000 customers, and we are looking forward to continuing this growth journey! We provide the full spectrum of financial services, from accounting to interim CFOs for some of the fastest growing companies in Finland as well as all over the Nordics. Everyone works closely together, meaning you will be working with other CFO’s, Accountants, Payroll Specialists, HR specialists, Systems and Integrations Specialists, but most importantly, with great customers. Besides our consulting services, we already have a large, established tech team with over a hundred people who use programming languages for working with data.
The Role:
As a Lead Full Stack Developer, you
- Design, build, and ship full-stack features across frontend, APIs, and databases.
- Lead frontend development and architecture using modern frameworks (React, Vue, Next.js).
- Build and maintain scalable backend services and APIs across our stack (Go, Ruby on Rails, Python).
- Deploy and operate services in containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Improve performance, scalability, and reliability across applications and infrastructure.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and engineering best practices across the team.
Must have:
- 5+ years of experience building and shipping production web applications.
- Strong TypeScript and experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, Next.js, or Vue).
- Backend experience with Go, Ruby on Rails, Python, or similar backend frameworks.
- Experience building API-driven systems and working with containerized or Kubernetes-based deployments.
- Solid experience with PostgreSQL and Redis.
- Collaborative mindset with strong ownership and product thinking.
- Fluent English (Finnish or Swedish is a plus).
- Experience with Docker, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience working with AI-adjacent or data-intensive platforms.
- Familiarity with real-time systems (WebSockets, SSE).

With our hybrid work model, we are at least 50% of the work time at the office with our colleagues. A large part of our team is based in Espoo but any of the Greenstep offices in Finland are a possible location for our new developer!
