Job Overview

As a Business Controller, you will be responsible for the monthly reporting and detailed analysis of the company’s financial performance, supporting strategic decision-making and ensuring financial efficiency across the organization.



What You’ll Do:

  • Prepare and coordinate the Operational Budget in collaboration with all company departments, ensuring proper monitoring and follow-up.
  • Analyze budget variances and review monthly closing operations.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports for the Managing Director and the Headquarters Controlling Department.
  • Review and improve existing company processes to enhance operational efficiency and performance.
  • Implement cost control and expense optimization initiatives.
  • Develop and propose actions to optimize business performance at country level.
  • Prepare and deliver internal presentations, clearly communicating financial results and insights to internal stakeholders to support informed decision-making.



What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Previous experience in external audit or consultancy is preferred.
  • Experience as a Financial Controller in a service or multinational company will be considered a strong advantage.
  • Solid knowledge of local accounting practices, tax regulations, and legislation.
  • Strong understanding of local accounting principles and procedures (knowledge of IFRS is a plus).
  • Excellent computer skills, particularly MS Excel and MS Office; experience with ERP systems is highly valued.
  • Strong proficiency in Power BI.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Business-oriented mindset with strong financial acumen.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to different stakeholders.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
