Key Responsibilities
- Design digital, analog, and power supply circuits, including their integration into RF devices
- Coordinate PCB layout, perform circuit calculations, and place components such as connectors and indicators
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers to define thermal management and shielding requirements
- Create schematics, select components, and perform PCB layout and routing in line with DFM and DFT guidelines
- Support the product lifecycle from initial design to testing and debugging of prototypes
- Identify and troubleshoot design flaws or malfunctions in laboratory prototypes
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field
- Strong experience in designing digital, analog, and power circuits
- Solid understanding of PCB manufacturing processes and design for manufacturability/testability
- Proficiency in Altium Designer or Cadence Allegro
- Experience with hardware data interfaces: SPI, UART, I2C, CAN, USB, Ethernet, LVDS
- Skilled in using measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and logic analyzers
- Knowledge of PCB layout principles and best practices for complex hardware systems
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in hardware design and testing
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team
- Strong problem-solving skills, especially in prototype debugging and design optimization
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with design, mechanical, and manufacturing teams
- Experience in RF circuit design and signal integrity simulations (preferred)
- Knowledge of EMC compliance and testing (preferred)
- Familiarity with high-speed interfaces (PCIe, USB 3.1, LVDS) (preferred)
