At Gorenje d.o.o., within the Supply Chain Management department, we are looking for a proactive and analytically oriented Supply Chain Planner (m/f), who will play a key role in managing, analyzing, and optimizing the supply chain processes for cooling products.

Location: Velenje

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing continuous demand, supply, and production plans, as well as mid-term and short-term production schedules, reports, and analyses

• Identifying and highlighting potential risks and opportunities through analysis of supply data and market performance

• Improving forecasting accuracy through root-cause analysis and ongoing parameter optimization

• Coordinating with Production, Procurement, and Logistics to resolve constraints, set order priorities, and manage schedule changes

• Maintaining planning parameters in line with inventory and service level targets in ERP/APS systems

• Monitoring and balancing inventories across locations and proposing/implementing corrective actions to prevent shortages and reduce write-offs

• Tracking the status of orders and open tasks, ensuring customer requirements are met within agreed deadlines

• Identifying supply risks and proposing actions to Sales and Customer Support

• Supporting ATP/CTP information for order promising and prioritization

• Monitoring service-level KPIs (fill rate, OTIF, backorders)

• Participating in projects aimed at improving lead times, flexibility, and cost efficiency

Education and Work Experience:

• At least a university degree in logistics, economics, industrial engineering, or related fields

• At least three years of experience in a comparable position

• Preferred certifications: APICS/ASCM CPIM, CSCP

• Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, retail, or distribution environments is highly desirable

• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and planning tools (SAP, Oracle, JDA/Blue Yonder, Kinaxis, OMP, etc.)

Desired Skills:

• Active knowledge of English

• Strong MS Office skills (advanced Excel)

• Preferably knowledge of SAP

• Experience working with large datasets

• Understanding of supply chain concepts (MRP, MPS, safety stock, MOQ, capacity, S&OP/IBP)
