Network Engineer - Oosterhout, Netherlands (Hybrid Role)

Are you ready to elevate your networking career? We’re looking for a Network Engineer to join our partner in Oosterhout, working 3 days on-site and 2 days remotely each week. This is a unique opportunity to work on a transformative project for a global leader in packaging manufacturing, deploying cutting-edge Cisco SD-Access solutions across more than 500 sites in Europe whilst working in the Netherlands office. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the success of one of the largest network rollouts in the industry, as part of a collaborative and innovative IT managed service provider.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Providing 2nd and 3rd line support for network operations, ensuring reliability, scalability, and top-notch performance.
• Supporting the deployment and optimization of advanced Cisco technologies, including routing, switching, Cisco ASA firewalls, and Cisco Software-Defined Access (SDA) solutions.
• Troubleshooting complex issues, proactively maintaining network performance, and balancing both operational and support responsibilities.
• Collaborating closely with stakeholders and team members to implement innovative solutions that align with the customer’s strategic goals.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong Cisco expertise: Hands-on experience with Cisco technologies, including routing, switching, and firewalls. CCNA or CCNP certification (or equivalent knowledge) is preferred.
• Experience with large-scale network environments: Ideally, exposure to multi-site rollouts or enterprise environments.
• Proactive problem-solving skills: The ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues effectively, with a passion for keeping systems running smoothly.
• Experience with SD-Access or similar technologies: Familiarity with software-defined networking and Cisco SDA is a strong advantage.
• Strong communication skills: Fluency in Dutch and English is ideal, but exceptional English-only candidates will also be considered.
• Team collaboration mindset: The ability to work in a dynamic, collaborative environment while meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.
