This is a role for someone who sees quality as a product discipline, not a checklist. As an experienced tester, you know that quality in digital health is not optional. It is foundational. If that responsibility motivates you rather than intimidates you, let’s talk.
Your role
You will join a multidisciplinary team working on our mobile Omron Connect applications, with touchpoints across mobile, AWS, cloud infrastructure and Node.js services. Within this team, you take (shared) ownership of how quality is embedded into the product lifecycle. You test both manually and automated, shape testing practices, strengthen automation and ensure that releases are predictable, safe and robust.
You are hands-on and strategic at the same time. You build frameworks yourself, but you also elevate the way the team and other Lusciians thinks about risk, coverage and release confidence. In digital health, quality directly impacts patient safety. You understand that responsibility and act accordingly.
What you will be doing, among others:
- Design, build and continuously strengthen scalable testing across iOS, Android and our AWS / Cloud / Node.js stack.
- Apply risk-based testing strategies across mobile, API and network layers.
- Integrate testing deeply into CI/CD pipelines to increase release confidence.
- Oversee the full testing lifecycle for App Store and Play Store releases, including signing and beta distribution.
- Translate real-world healthcare workflows into structured test scenarios, preferably using BDD principles.
- Work closely with engineers to identify root causes and structurally improve quality.
- Ensure that testing priorities align with product goals within Scrum and Kanban teams.
- Strengthen quality awareness across the team by setting clear standards and sharing best practices.
- Coach team members on QA practices and promote a culture of quality across the organisation.

The ideal candidate…
… probably doesn't exist, but if you can tick most of the checkboxes below, please apply! You are someone who takes pride in quality and understands that testing is about more than finding bugs. It is about building confidence in every release. You combine a hands-on mindset with a structured approach and enjoy collaborating across disciplines to make our apps better every day.
- 7+ years of hands-on experience testing mobile applications on both iOS and Android, plus Cloud / Node.js, with several years spent guiding peers, shaping best practices, and raising the team’s overall quality standard.
- Proven experience building and scaling test automation frameworks from scratch.
- Strong hands-on experience with tools such as XCUITest, Espresso or Maestro.
- Solid understanding of mobile architectures, APIs and network-level testing.
- Experience working with CI systems such as GitHub Actions.
- Comfortable using modern tooling such as Linear for bug tracking.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate business and clinical flows into structured, risk-aware test strategies.
- Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum / Kanban).
- A natural sense of ownership and the confidence to challenge assumptions when quality is at stake.
- English is our primary language, so you're fluent in that language.
