We are seeking a proactive, intellectually curious, and fast-learning "Strategy Planning Chief" to join our Strategy team, reporting directly to the Strategy Coordinator. The selected candidate will take the lead in Çalık Enerji’s Second-Generation Ethanol (E2G) and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) energy transition initiatives and contribute to the global identification and prioritization of clean and renewable energy business opportunities. This role requires cross-functional coordination, high-level communication, and strategic planning within the evolving landscape of green energy transformation


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Çalık Enerji’s Second-Generation Ethanol (E2G)/SAF project, overseeing the full cycle from pre-feasibility to strategic positioning.
  • Support the Strategy Coordinator in providing strategic input and coordination across other green energy transformation projects, including biofuels, solar, wind, and hybrid systems.
  • Assist the Strategy Coordinator in the evaluation and prioritization of global business opportunities, contributing to Çalık Enerji’s and Çalık Holding’s investment strategy.
  • Support the Strategy Coordinator in the organization and execution of high-level visits, especially with strategic partners from Japan, Europe, Africa and other key markets.
  • Prepare briefing materials, talking points, and documentation for C-level executives and high-ranking public/private sector stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external parties, consultants, suppliers and etc. to ensure strategic alignment across projects and initiatives.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or any other scientific field (preferably Chemical Engineering or Process Engineering).
  • Minimum 7 years of professional experience, including project management in technical, industrial, or energy-related fields. Familiarity with process industries like oil & gas, petrochemicals, or biomass will be an advantage.
  • Proven ability and enthusiasm to lead complex, cross-functional projects involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience or familiarity with bioenergy, carbon footprint analysis, or renewable fuels is a strong asset.
  • Exposure to international business environments and stakeholder negotiations is preferable.
  • Excellent English communication skills (both written and spoken).
  • Strong skills in strategic thinking, coordination, and communication.
  • A proactive and curious mindset, with a passion for innovation and sustainability.
  • Ability to learn quickly and thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments.
