Proxy-Cheap offers enterprise-level proxies for novices and professionals. We strive to provide affordable solutions for our customers to obtain data and circumvent restrictions while operating at scale. Our solutions serve customers from brand protection to market research and other industries.
What you'll bring:
- 4–6+ years in product management with a proven track record of shipping products you can speak to specifically — not just managed, but launched, measured, and iterated on
- Deep fluency in product-led growth: you understand how the product itself drives acquisition, activation, and retention, and you've built or contributed to PLG motions before
- A genuinely data-driven approach — you define success metrics before building, not after
- Strong analytical skills: comfortable in dashboards, pulling queries, interpreting funnels, and turning numbers into clear decisions
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects end-to-end, keeping stakeholders aligned and delivery on track
- Sharp prioritization instincts — you know how to say no, and how to explain why with data
- Experience with objective-based planning — short and long-term goal setting for a team, not just sprint-level task management
- User research and user testing skills — you go talk to customers directly, not just read secondhand feedback
- Clear, direct communicator who can translate technical complexity for business audiences and business context for engineering teams
- Collaborative, well-organized, with a strong personal sense of ownership across everything in your domain
Responsibilities:
- Own the product roadmap for your area — set priorities, defend them with data, and adjust when the evidence demands it
- Champion a ship-to-learn culture — default to experimentation, validate hypotheses before committing to full builds, and create a team habit of testing assumptions early
- Run objective-based planning cycles — set clear outcome targets, build experiments around them, measure results ruthlessly, and feed learnings back into the next cycle
- Hold the standard that the team solves customer and business problems — push back on feature requests that lack a clear problem or outcome behind them
- Lead day-to-day product operations: write specs, run grooming sessions, unblock engineering, and keep projects moving without losing sight of the outcome
- Define, track, and report on core product metrics — retention, activation, usage, conversion — and take full accountability for their performance
- Conduct regular data analysis to surface friction points, growth opportunities, and underperforming areas before they become problems
- Gather and synthesize customer feedback, support tickets, sales input, and usage data into a coherent, actionable product perspective
- Lead user research initiatives — own the mechanisms for understanding customer pain points directly, not just through proxies
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats before they're obvious
- Drive product launches end-to-end — from internal alignment to rollout to post-launch measurement
- Collaborate with engineering, marketing, and sales to ensure alignment on goals, launches, and the product story
Bonus:
- Familiarity with proxy infrastructure, networking concepts, or developer tooling
- Experience working on self-serve or usage-based SaaS products
- Hands-on experience with analytics tools such as Mixpanel, Amplitude, Looker, or similar
- Prior experience in a startup environment where you owned a product area independently
What We Offer:
- Competitive compensation
- Real ownership over a product area with direct business impact
- A fast-moving environment where decisions get made and shipped — not debated indefinitely
- Remote-first culture built on transparency, accountability, and genuine autonomy
