Job Position: Network Engineer

Location: Abudhabi

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor& degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or graduate of a technical school. Relevant technical certifications are a plus (CCNA, CCNP or Higher).
• At least 10 years of IT support technical experience with proven experience as a network engineer for at least 5 years.
• Hands-on experience on the deployment, installation, configuration and maintenance of enterprise network equipment, devices and services. (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS)
• Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS, IGMP, LACP)
• Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, configure and maintain network infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability and performance. Network infrastructure solutions includes Routers, Firewall, L2/L3 Switches, Security Appliance,
• Network Monitoring Server, Fiber and Copper Connectivity.
• Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including installation of service packs, security patches, hot fixes and configurations and security updates and upgrade.
• Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
• Create, develop and prepare technical documentation for all network equipment and devices. Technical documentation should have processes, procedures, troubleshooting guides and training module
• Maintain a detailed network equipment and device inventory along with firmware revision dates and software version and build number to ensure accuracy and up to date information.
• Assist the Operation and Project Team in planning network requirements for projects and upgrade and ordering of equipment. Maintain and monitor maintenance contracts and track end of life for network devices.
