GENERAL DESCRIPTION

This role is for a Java developer for output management application in Wealth Management domain, desirable to have Quadient Inspire software experience.

KEY FEATURES OF THE POSITION

• Work on the implementation of Java based output management application for head office for multiple booking centres.

1. Passionate about technologies, building robust and scalable interfaces and local developments Stake holder management – working closely with technical lead, business change engineers, and project managers on IT delivery.
2. Adhere to technical and architectural design, enforce architectural guidelines and challenge status quo
3. Take responsibility for ensuring that risks and issues are identified and managed closely and delivered on time and to the required quality standards
4. Demonstration of appropriate values and behaviours including but not limited to standards on honesty and integrity, due care and diligence, fair dealing (treating customers fairly), management of conflicts of interest, competence and continuous development, adequate risk management, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations
6. Hands on experience in analysis, design, coding, and implementation of complex and custom-built solution
7. Work collaboratively with team to achieve goals. Experience working in a Safe Agile environment

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION

Professional

• Minimum 8 years of development experience in Front-end applications, programming languages and back-end queries.
• Well organized and ability to carry out multiple tasks. Able to influence and drive projects to meet key milestones and overcome challenges.
• Preferably, have experience in finance/ banking / Wealth management domain
• Domain knowledge on Client Output management is a plus
• Communicate highly technical issues to non-technical audience
• Understand business / system requirements and translate them into technical solutions that are scalable, stable, and fit for purpose.
• Ensure adherence to the bank standards (including code, security and performance)
• Work collaboratively with team to achieve goals. Experience working in Agile methodologies, such as Scrum, and/or Extreme programming

Technical

• Strong knowledge on Java, Spring boot, Hibernate frameworks.
• Strong knowledge on Service oriented architecture, RESTful services
• Good knowledge of SQL (Oracle, Postgres etc.)
• Knowledge of Quadient Inspire platform will be an advantage
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes (PKS) and containerization, streaming using Kafka, Avro schema
• Strong computer science knowledge (algorithms, data structures, object-oriented design)
• Working knowledge of GITLAB repositories, Maven, Octopus, CI / CD pipeline
• Basic Linux shell scripting commands
• Familiarity with Intellij, SonarQube/SonarLint
