This is a contract position based in the Punggol Barat, Singapore. You will play a key role in supporting the human resource functions across the organization.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing Human Resources (HR) operations, implementing policies, and ensuring compliance with labor laws.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- To provide professional HR support and advice to the Management.
- To ensure that the HR procedures and practices comply with statutory requirements such as employment law and internal policies.
- To ensure all employee grievances and Industrial Relations (IR) matters are resolved amicably to safeguard the interest of the Company at all times.
- To ensure continuous improvement to the HR functions and processes.
- Coordinate with the respective Business Leaders on their manpower requirement and to source and hire talents according to business needs.
- To be a primary HR contact for employees, addressing concerns and resolving workplace issues and to ensure all HR related matters for the business assigned is well handled with no non-compliances against any laws and regulations.
- To ensure that all respective employees’ performance management is conducted and managed in an orderly manner in order to establish a more objective approach for the benefits of all parties involved and ultimately for better employee productivity.
- To manage the full spectrum of work pass administration, including applications, renewals, and appeals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management or equivalent.
- Good knowledge of local labour and immigration laws, HR practices and regulations, as well as Work Pass Requirements and Types of Work Passes will be an added advantage.
- At least 2 years of relevant working experience.
- Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents are preferred.
