Java – Senior Consultant

Location: Chennai/Bangalore

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Spring Boot Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level applications. The ideal candidate should have experience in Spring Boot, MVC architecture, RESTful APIs, and microservices. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable and high-performance applications while following Agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain Java-based applications using Spring Boot and Spring MVC.

Design and implement scalable microservices with RESTful APIs.

Work closely with frontend developers, UI/UX designers, and DevOps teams.

Optimize application performance, security, and scalability.

Write clean, testable, and efficient code following industry best practices.

Perform unit and integration testing (JUnit, Mockito, etc.).

Manage databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and write efficient queries.

Work with version control systems like Git and CI/CD pipelines.

Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and debugging.

Stay updated with emerging technologies and frameworks.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

5+ years of hands-on experience in Java development with Spring Boot & Spring MVC.

Proficiency in RESTful APIs, JSON, and microservices architecture.

Experience with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, etc.) is a plus.

Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.

Good understanding of Agile development (Scrum, Kanban) and DevOps methodologies.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of Kafka, RabbitMQ, and message brokers.

Experience with GraphQL or gRPC.

Familiarity with frontend frameworks (React.js, Angular, or Vue.js).
