Job Title: DevOps Engineer
Location: London / Hybrid
Salary: £70,000 p/a
Are you a DevOps Engineer looking for an opportunity to shape complex multi-cloud systems in a high-growth environment? We’re working with a dynamic technology company on a mission to simplify and streamline cloud-based solutions for their client in the media space.
As a DevOps Engineer, you’ll be central to evolving secure, scalable infrastructure. You’ll develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, deploy cloud-based services across AWS, and work closely with developers, architects, and integration partners to build robust systems. This is a hands-on role with a focus on automation, security, and performance - using tools like Terraform, GitHub Actions, and AWS AFT.
Key Responsibilities as a DevOps Engineer
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, AWS AFT).
- Design and deploy infrastructure using Terraform across AWS.
- Support API integrations and multi-cloud service deployments.
- Translate architecture into IaC solutions.
- Assist developers with environment setup, system integration, and troubleshooting.
- Contribute to disaster recovery strategies and high-quality documentation.
- Continuously improve platform observability, automation, and deployment processes.
Essential Experience from the DevOps Engineer:
- At least 3 years hands-on experience working with AWS
- Strong hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- Containerisation experience (Kubernetes, Docker)
- GitHub Actions
- Experience in CI/CD pipeline management and REST API integration
Bonus Points:
- Any experience and knowledge of AWS AFT
- Scripting experience with Python, Bash, Go, JavaScript
- Experience deploying Kubernetes clusters
- Experience working in a broadcast or gaming environment
- Understanding of networking principles (DNS, VPN, NAT, Load Balancing, etc.)
