We are looking for a Senior Java Performance Engineer on a Contract basis(Hybrid ) to optimize and enhance the performance, scalability, and reliability of enterprise-level financial applications. The role focuses on identifying performance bottlenecks, improving system efficiency, and implementing scalable solutions within complex distributed environments. You will collaborate with architects, developers, and DevOps teams to ensure high-performing, cloud-ready platforms built with modern Java technologies and microservices architecture.

• Analyze and optimize application performance by identifying bottlenecks in enterprise Java systems.
• Design and implement scalable, high-performance solutions using Java SE/JEE and modern backend frameworks.
• Conduct performance testing, load testing, and benchmarking to ensure system reliability under heavy workloads.
• Optimize database interactions and SQL queries across Oracle, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server environments.
• Collaborate with architects and development teams to implement scalable architecture and performance improvements.
• Refactor and improve performance-critical modules to enhance system efficiency and reduce latency.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for high-volume enterprise applications.
• Work with Spring Framework, JPA/Hibernate, and middleware technologies to build robust backend services.
• Support cloud-native deployments using container platforms such as Kubernetes or OpenShift.
• Participate in Agile development processes while contributing to CI/CD and DevOps best practices.
