Indigeco is partnering with a leading telecommunications organisation to recruit a Business Analyst – Collections for a contract opportunity based in Melbourne.
This role will play a key part in delivering regulatory-driven system and process changes aligned to the upcoming Telecommunications Consumer Protection (TCP) Code 2026 update.
You will work closely with collections, compliance, and operational stakeholders to support mandatory uplift initiatives, implement system changes, and ensure regulatory obligations are met within defined timeframes.
This is a hybrid role, with a minimum of 3 days per week in the Docklands office.
THE COMPANY
Our client is a major telecommunications provider operating within a highly regulated environment.
They are currently undertaking several regulatory and compliance initiatives impacting their collections operations, with multiple system changes already in flight.
The team is focused on ensuring customer protection standards are strengthened while maintaining operational efficiency and compliance.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as a liaison between collections, compliance, and project stakeholders
- Elicit, analyse, and document business requirements
- Support regulatory uplift initiatives linked to the TCP Code update
- Assist in implementing system and process changes within collections
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions
- Coordinate and support UAT and testing activities
- Ensure updated processes align with regulatory and compliance obligations
- Contribute to the delivery of multiple concurrent system changes
YOUR REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst
- Strong background in Collections (highly preferred)
- Experience working in telecommunications, banking, or utilities environments
- Exposure to regulatory or compliance-driven change initiatives
- Experience gathering requirements and supporting UAT
- Familiarity with BA tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Visio
- Experience with CRM platforms (Amdocs desirable)
- Exposure to FICO collections systems is advantageous
