Deliver high quality visual assets across print, digital, and event mediums. A key member of the marketing team you will work closely with creative and sales teams to create and develop brand-aligned designs. This will range from brochures, large format signage, EDMs, social media content/templates, webpages and social content creation. Combining creativity with technical expertise, the position ensures consistent, engaging, an impactful design that supports the organisation’s marketing and business objectives. Work across major Australian events such as Australian Open, Australian Grand Prix, AFL Grand Final and Spring racing Carnival as well as major exhibitions and conferences.
Brand Design & Implementation
- Internal and external branded collateral & print publications
- Maintaining internal branding documents (Pitch Decks, Tenders, Corporate Presentations, Brochures)
- Event signage and finished art (Banners, Large format signage, event signage,)
- Website Design and maintenance (Homepage refresh, landing pages, Campaign focused design)
- Sales collateral to support product (Product Books, Brochures, Invitations)
- Contribute to our Image gallery and digital asset manager (Using our in-house software to maintain tagging of our photos)
- Marketing social campaigns (Assist in planning and execution through video, printed and digital assets)
Digital Marketing & Content Creation
- Segment department audience data (events, exhibitions, productions) to further develop new sale strategies
- Liaise with other designers and clients to develop innovative digital and print concepts from creative briefs
- New product campaigns ideation and concepts for internal and external marketing and promotion
- Taking an active approach in storyboarding, planning, producing, editing engaging content for all social media channels (out-of-business hours and weekend work required)
- Designing & creating eDM campaigns
- Updating the company’s website content through our custom CMS
- Support with event and product photography
- Art direction and photoshoot styling
Graphic and Brand Management
- Ensure that all design work is consistent with the brand’s voice, vision, and identity
- Evolve and adapt the brand guidelines as needed to stay current and fresh.
- Create new design assets (logos, templates, illustrations, etc.) as part of brand initiatives.
- Business acumen to understand the broader marketing and business goals of a project, aligning design work to these objectives.
- Communicate design ideas clearly, both verbally and visually, to clients and team members.
- Experience designing for web, mobile, and social media platforms, ensuring designs are optimised for these environments.
- Manage multiple design projects in a fast paced environment, prioritising tasks and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (copywriters, creatives, sales teams) to ensure seamless project execution.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, design tools, and emerging technologies.
- Ability to accept and integrate feedback from team members and stakeholders while refining designs.
- Collaborate with Harry the hirer sales and account managers to develop and deliver internal and external client briefs
- Liaise with creative & marketing teams to ensure correct action is taken in the development and execution of client events and brand
- experiences, delivering on our brand promise of bringing events to life and our ‘Can do’ attitude.
Manage key internal client relationships with:
- General Managers of each department
- Sales Managers
- Creative & Operations teams
Develop a clear understanding of internal business processes and departmental direction and objectives
Ensure consistency graphics (both print and digital media) across all departments
Project manage creative requests with internal sales and operation teams
Technical Requirements
· Minimum 3-5 years+ design experience in a range of design mediums (branding, proposals, signage, social media, digital & print)
· Strong knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
· Experience with motion graphics and video editing (e.g., After Effects, Premier Pro CapCut.)
· Experience in art direction and photoshoots – planning content
· Business and stakeholder management experience
· Ai tool experience highly regarded
· Degree / Diploma in Communication Design or similar

Note this is a full time on-site role located in Abbotsford with requirement to be on site at events.
