Purpose As a Compliance Analyst within the Swyftx Compliance Team, you are the guardian of our regulatory integrity. You will ensure that Swyftx stays ahead of evolving obligations while empowering our teams to adhere to policies in every facet of their work. You will bridge the gap between complex regulation and seamless user experience, providing the insights and reporting necessary to mitigate risk and drive continuous improvement.

Your Core Responsibilities

• Obligations Management: Support the lifecycle of our obligations registers, ensuring periodic reviews are thorough and actionable.
• Policy Architecture: Develop, maintain, and refine the internal policies and procedures that define how Swyftx operates safely.
• Incident & Breach Assessment: Assist in evaluating incidents to determine "reportable situations," ensuring we meet our transparency commitments to regulators.
• Growth & Marketing Support: Review marketing collateral against RG 234 and oversee product design to ensure alignment with Target Market Determinations (TMD).
• Regulatory Change: Act as a key contributor to regulatory change projects, helping the business navigate new laws and industry shifts.
• Data-Driven Insights: Deliver clarity through the creation of dashboards and visualizations that track the effectiveness of our compliance measures.

Technical & Behavioral Strengths

• Regulatory Fluency: 3+ years in a compliance role with a deep understanding of Australian regulatory requirements (AFSL, ASIC, etc.).
• Framework Expertise: Proven ability to build compliance frameworks and translate them into practical internal controls.
• Communication Mastery: High-level interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and communicate complex obligations simply.
• Organizational Precision: Outstanding attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple high-stakes projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Crypto Savvy: An understanding of digital assets and the blockchain landscape is highly regarded.
• Academic Grounding: Relevant tertiary qualifications in Law, Business, or a related field.
