IT Infrastructure Project Lead (m/w/d)
I am currently supporting a well‑established European technology organisation in the search for an experienced professional to take ownership of IT infrastructure delivery within construction and refurbishment projects.
This role combines technical depth with project ownership and is ideal for individuals who enjoy navigating complex stakeholder environments while driving infrastructure concepts into reality.
Your Responsibilities - impactful, technical, and cross‑functional
Technical Leadership
- Lead the implementation of IT infrastructure across new building and modernization projects, with a strong focus on network and cabling systems
- Design and evaluate modern network architectures and related IT services
- Configure, install, and troubleshoot enterprise-grade network components (including equipment from leading vendors such as CISCO)
- Conduct requirement analysis with end users and construction teams to define clear technical specifications
- Ensure seamless integration of all IT‑relevant building trades and infrastructure components
- Structure, organise and drive project workflows from planning to go‑live
- Collaborate closely with international technology teams as well as local external service providers
- Review and track requirements, resources, risks, and milestones alongside the project manager
- Manage escalations and ensure transparent communication across all stakeholders
- Oversee workstreams of construction-adjacent trades and coordinate their activities with the IT delivery schedule
- Confident in navigating diverse and multi-disciplinary project environments
- Strong English language skills for international coordination / German is a string plus here
