We are currently seeking a Senior Full-Stack Java Developer to contribute to the design, development and evolution of large-scale enterprise applications based on microservices architectures for a prestigious European Institution in Brussels.

🖥️ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design, develop and maintain scalable Java/Spring-based microservices within a distributed architecture;

Develop modern front-end interfaces using Angular or similar JavaScript frameworks;

Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate complex business workflows into technical solutions;

Contribute to the design of high-performance backend services, APIs and event-driven architectures (REST, messaging systems, Kafka);

Ensure application quality through unit testing, integration testing and CI/CD pipelines;

Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, documentation and knowledge sharing within an Agile development team.

📝 REQUIREMENTS:

Excellent knowledge of Java, Spring Boot and RESTful microservices architecture;

Strong experience with Angular or modern front-end frameworks, as well as HTML, CSS and JavaScript/TypeScript;

Good knowledge of DevOps and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines);

Experience with relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL) and ORM frameworks (JPA/Hibernate);

Knowledge of event-driven architectures and messaging systems (Kafka or equivalent) is a strong asset;

University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field;

Fluency in English (C1);

Ability to work in multicultural and international environments.

This is a hybrid role, requiring on-site presence at the Brussels office 3 days per week. 📍
