Context of the mission

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to lead and contribute to a wide range of high-impact projects involving advanced analytics and artificial intelligence.

The role focuses on developing innovative solutions in areas such as security analytics to enhance passenger and infrastructure safety, punctuality optimization through predictive modeling and real-time data analysis, energy consumption analysis to support sustainability goals, and generative AI applications to explore new frontiers in operational efficiency.

As the scientific reference for an experienced team of data scientists, you will provide strategic guidance, ensure methodological rigor, and foster innovation across all projects. You will collaborate with various business and technical teams to translate complex operational challenges into actionable, data-driven insights and scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement advanced data science solutions using machine learning, deep learning, and Generative AI techniques
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, IT, and sustainability departments
• Translate complex business challenges into data-driven solutions
• Ensure best practices in model development, validation, and deployment
• Drive the adoption of innovative tools, technologies, and methodologies within the data science team
• Act as a technical reference and mentor for other data scientists within the team

Requirements

• Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in data science, preferably in industrial or operational environments
• Proven expertise in cloud services for industrialized data analytics projects
• Strong knowledge of Python and PySpark
• Solid understanding of machine learning and advanced data science techniques
• Experience deploying ML and AI models into production environments
• Ability to translate complex business problems into actionable analytical solutions
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Fluent in English
• Availability to work on-site on Tuesdays and Thursdays
