Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Security Consultant to support multiple organisations in strengthening their cybersecurity posture and aligning their security strategy with European regulatory requirements. The consultant will provide strategic cybersecurity guidance, support risk assessments, and help develop pragmatic security roadmaps while ensuring alignment with established security frameworks and regulatory expectations.
Responsibilities
- Assess and communicate the cybersecurity risk posture of organisations.
- Support the development of multi‑year cybersecurity strategies and roadmaps.
- Provide advisory support on cyber risks and security investment priorities.
- Translate complex security requirements into practical and implementable actions.
- Track remediation initiatives and ensure progress across multiple stakeholders.
- Facilitate collaboration between internal teams, management, and third‑party providers.
- Prepare concise reports and executive‑level deliverables for senior management.
Required Experience
- Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise security programs.
- Experience working in complex or regulated environments.
- Strong knowledge of EU cybersecurity regulations such as DORA and NIS2.
- Experience with international security frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NIST CSF.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate regulations into security controls.
Technical Knowledge (Preferred)
- Cloud security (AWS or Azure environments).
- Identity and Access Management (IAM) frameworks.
- SIEM / EDR solutions and threat intelligence integration.
- Network security, vulnerability management, and patch management practices.
Certifications
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CRISC or similar are preferred. Cloud security certifications (CCSP, Azure Security, AWS Security) are considered a plus.

- English – Fluent (mandatory)
