Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid Chief Accountant role based in Tallinn, with flexibility for work-from-home arrangements. The Chief Accountant will oversee the company's financial operations, including preparing financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulations, managing audits, and analysing financial data. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimise financial processes, provide strategic recommendations, and maintain accurate transaction records and reporting. The role also includes developing budgets, monitoring cash flow, and overseeing taxation and payroll functions.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in financial accounting, auditing, and preparing financial statements
• Knowledge of tax regulations, compliance, and experience managing taxation processes
• Strong analytical skills, with experience in financial analysis and budgeting
• Experience with accounting software, bookkeeping, and detailed transaction reconciliation
• Attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Estonian
• Educational background in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Prior experience in a similar role; experience in the fintech or crypto industry is a huge plus
• Professional accounting certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) is an advantage

Salary
