Front End developer (React)1 year day rate contract

Core Responsibilities

• Development: Build and maintain high-performance web apps using React and Next.js.

• Design & UX: Convert wireframes into responsive code while advocating for accessibility (WCAG).

• Optimization: Improve speed, scalability, and SEO via SSR/SSG techniques.

• Integration: Connect front-end apps to headless CMS platforms and various APIs.

• Collaboration: Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprints, grooming) and work with QA and Design teams to ensure quality.

• Strategy: Identify technical risks and dependencies to support the Programme Manager.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience: 5+ years in large-scale, production-grade front-end development.

• Tech Stack: Expert-level JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, React, and Next.js.(Essential)

• Styling & State: Proficiency in modern CSS (Tailwind/Styled Components) and state management (Redux/Zustand).

• Workflow: Strong background in Agile/Scrum environments using Jira or Azure DevOps.

• Soft Skills: Strong communication skills and the ability to align technical solutions with business value.
