Are you a Senior ML Engineer ready to build and own an AI function from the ground up?

A fast-growing SaaS company in Dublin is hiring its first Senior ML Engineer to build the intelligence layer of its platform from the ground up. This is a true greenfield opportunity, giving you the chance to establish the AI function and scale it over time. The company has ambitious plans to become a global leader and a billion-dollar business.

You’ll work on ML for the core product, shaping both the roadmap and technical direction, and collaborate closely with a Senior Data Scientist to bring models into production. The environment is fast-paced, highly collaborative, and cross-functional.

As the first AI hire, you’ll have strong ownership, high visibility, and the opportunity to shape and grow the team, making this a standout role for career progression.

Your mission:

• Designing and building ML models to predict user behaviour and optimise real-time decisions
• Deploying scalable, production-grade ML systems within a SaaS environment
• Laying the foundations for a growing AI capability

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years’ experience in AI/ML engineering with strong Python expertise
• Proven track record of building and deploying ML systems into production
• Deep understanding of experimentation methodologies (A/B testing, causal inference, reinforcement learning)
• Experience operating in fast-paced, product-led environments
• A mindset suited to ownership, autonomy, and greenfield problem-solving
