Cyber Security Analyst
Dublin. Hybrid. One day per week onsite.
A growing technology led organisation is building out its cyber and risk capability and is hiring a Cyber Security Analyst to support the maturity of its security controls across a large-scale production environment.
This is a broad role sitting between technology, delivery teams and external partners, focused on improving how security is embedded into day-to-day operations rather than ticking boxes.
Plenty of autonomy, real influence and strong exposure across the business.
What you’ll be doing
- Acting as a primary contact for security related queries across internal teams and external partners
- Supporting the rollout and ongoing improvement of security policies, standards and controls
- Identifying, tracking and helping remediate security risks across platforms, systems and supplier
- Reviewing the effectiveness of security controls and highlighting areas for improvement
- Contributing to security documentation, guidance and internal training material
- Supporting supplier assurance and third-party risk activity
- Participating in security improvement initiatives and automation where appropriate
- Producing clear reporting for technical and non-technical stakeholders
What you’ll bring
- Several years’ experience in cyber security, IT risk, governance or security operations
- Strong experience with security frameworks: ISO 27001, NIST, DORA
- Solid understanding of enterprise technology environments including cloud and SaaS platforms
- Practical experience working with security standards, control frameworks or audit environments
- Comfortable engaging with engineers, vendors and business stakeholders
- Strong written communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables
- Any experience with reporting tools, workflow automation or analytics is beneficial but not essential
What’s on offer
- Hybrid working model with one day per week onsite in Dublin
- Strong salary and benefits package
- Long term career growth in a stable, well funded organisation
- High visibility role with genuine scope to shape security processes
- Flexible and supportive working culture
