About Us

Zenitech is a leading technology solutions provider dedicated to reshaping the global digital landscape. Headquartered in the UK, Zenitech operates internationally, with offices in Lithuania, Romania, and Hungary.

We use a bespoke approach depending on where the client is on their digital journey, comprising a combination of access to dedicated R&D labs, technology implementation advice, and specialist near-shore development talent. As an international community of individuals who are open to learning from each other, we collectively define and contribute to the digital future of our clients’ businesses.

About The Role

We’re looking for a Senior UX/UI Designer to join Zenitech’s established, multi-country design team. Your first engagement will be with a US-based healthcare navigation provider currently undergoing a significant digital transformation, including the introduction of AI capabilities into its platform. This work focuses on improving how members access and understand healthcare services through well-structured digital experiences.

The work is collaborative and insight-driven. You’ll partner with researchers, content designers, a design system specialist, and several engineering squads to shape clear, reliable user journeys across digital products.

While this role begins with a defined product focus, Zenitech operates a consultancy model, so designers regularly contribute across different clients and domains over time. This role also includes a People Lead responsibility for the Lithuanian design team, supporting the development of up to 8 designers through mentorship, career guidance, and performance conversations. This sits alongside your individual contributor responsibilities and includes additional compensation.

What you will do

  • Produce high-quality UX/UI design across complex digital products
  • Translate research insights, requirements and business goals for complex healthcare information into clear user experiences
  • Apply strong interaction design and produce high-quality UI with strong structure, hierarchy, and usability
  • Partner with researchers to plan and iterate on testing cycles
  • Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers and the client in agile teams
  • Communicate design decisions clearly and professionally
  • Support and mentor designers within the Lithuanian team as part of the People Lead responsibility

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in UX/UI design
  • Strong capability across both user experience and visual design
  • Proven experience designing mobile apps and web products using React Native or similar frameworks. Strong understanding of iOS and Android behaviours, patterns, and conventions
  • A portfolio demonstrating confident UI craft and clear UX thinking
  • Experience applying research insights and iterating with evidence
  • Comfortable working across parallel, multi-team delivery environments and confident working in fast-moving environments where requirements evolve. Ability to transition into new domains where needed
  • Strong communication skills and a calm, organized approach with stakeholders
  • Solid understanding of accessibility and inclusive design principles
  • Experience mentoring or supporting other designers

We value designers who are pragmatic, collaborative, and proactive — people who take ownership of their work and contribute positively to the team.

Nice to have

  • Experience designing for healthcare, insurance, or other complex domains
  • Exposure to AI-assisted design or product workflows, and an interest in applying these responsibly within real-world delivery.
  • Familiarity with accessibility principles (WCAG)

What we offer

  • Hybrid/flexible working model and flexible working hours
  • Private Medical and/or Health Insurance (location dependent)
  • Length of Service Awards
  • Referral programme
  • The option of a cafeteria package, meal tickets, or team lunches (location dependent)
  • A culture of continuous growth, supported by our People Lead system and various training resources for your personal development
  • Agile mindset, simplified processes, and a great atmosphere where commitment and autonomy are celebrated
  • A community-first mindset, working with talented people across technology products and consulting
  • Charity events and programs
  • Salary range: 3700 – 6000 EUR gross/month (Note: the specific amount will depend on your experience and competencies.)
