At Sunrise Robotics, we are dedicated to augmenting humanity through intelligent robotics. Our mission is to elevate the world of manufacturing by introducing intelligent, flexible robots that enhance human capabilities and existing machinery, ushering in the next era of production at higher quality, with less waste, and lower cost.
Our Vision:
We see a future where every element of manufacturing, from design to assembly, is optimised with intelligent automation. Our vision is to integrate flexible robotic solutions, based on generic hardware and advanced software/AI capabilities, into manufacturing, particularly in small and medium-sized enterprises, to make automation economically viable and accessible, for all sizes of manufacturers. We are not just building robots; we are creating the strategically crucial components for autonomous, intelligent agents of the future.
The Role:
At Sunrise Robotics, this Product Manager role owns the Cell Experience - the layer where our robotic systems meet real people on the factory floor.
You will define and drive how our customers and forward-deployed engineers interact with our cells, translating real-world workflows into intuitive, reliable interfaces. This role sits at the intersection of physical systems and software, where usability directly impacts production environments.
Working closely with Design and Engineering, you’ll turn operational complexity into clear product direction, strong prioritisation, and industry-defining experiences. This is a senior individual contributor role with meaningful ownership and the potential to grow into a broader scope over time.
What You’ll Do:
- Own end-to-end product direction and delivery related to the Sunrise intelligent robotic cell experience.
- Define and prioritise the roadmap for customers and field-facing experiences.
- Translate on-site workflows into clear product requirements and well-scoped initiatives.
- Partner closely with Design to create intuitive interfaces for industrial environments.
- Work deeply with Engineering (10–15 engineers) to shape solutions and manage tradeoffs.
- Lead product discovery, including customer interviews and site visits.
- Proactively spend time at customer facilities to understand real-world usage.
- Balance user needs, technical feasibility, and business impact in decisions.
- Support go-to-market teams with a clear articulation of product value.
- Drive clarity and alignment across teams through strong communication and ownership.
- Proven experience as a Product Manager owning meaningful scope (not your first PM role).
- Experience building UI-heavy products with complex workflows.
- Strong product discovery and prioritisation skills.
- Experience working closely with designers and engineering teams.
- Ability to translate physical or operational processes into digital experiences.
- High empathy for non-technical users in industrial environments.
- Track record of shipping products that delivered clear business value.
- Strong communication skills and comfort operating in ambiguity.
- Experience in hardware-integrated software, robotics, or manufacturing.
- Experience in robotics, manufacturing, or hardware-integrated software.
- Background in human–machine interfaces or industrial UX.
- Experience working closely with field or forward-deployed teams.
- Experience in scale-up or early-growth environments.
- We’re building a new category of intelligent, flexible robotic automation with real deployments, real customers, and momentum across Europe.
- High exposure: Work directly with founders and leadership on decisions that shape the company’s trajectory.
- Career acceleration: Take ownership of a mission-critical product area at a fast-scaling robotics company, with the opportunity to grow into broader product leadership as our systems expand across customers, use cases, and markets.
- Real impact: Design and deliver the experience that our customers and forward-deployed engineers rely on daily - directly shaping production performance, system adoption, and how robotics integrates into real manufacturing environments.
