DB Global Technology is Deutsche Bank’s technology centre in Central and Eastern Europe. Since 2013, our Bucharest Technology Centre has been delivering global technology solutions and plays an important role in the bank’s digital transformation.
We are currently looking for a Senior Oracle Developer to join our Treasury Technology team, working on the Liquidity Reporting program, where you will help design and build data solutions used for critical financial reporting.
What you will do
- Design and develop Oracle-based data models and ETL processes using PL/SQL
- Build and optimize high-volume reporting applications
- Analyze existing Treasury systems and propose scalable technical solutions
- Collaborate with architects, business analysts and developers to define data requirements
- Ensure software quality through unit testing, integration testing and agile practices
- Contribute to automation and CI/CD pipelines
- Mentor team members and support engineering best practices
What we are looking for
- Strong experience with Oracle PL/SQL development
- Experience with Java backend development
- Good understanding of data warehousing and reporting systems
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (TeamCity or similar)
- Experience working with Git, JIRA and modern development practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good English communication skills
Nice to have
- Experience with Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Impala)
- Knowledge of Scala
- Experience in financial services, treasury, risk or reporting systems
