Ford Business Solutions is looking for a
HR Senior Specialist
to join our Local HR Team in our Bucharest office.
We're hiring a HR Senior Specialist to manage the full cycle of an employee, from hire to retire, taking charge of all key HR responsibilities.
*This position is for a temporary period of approximately 18 months, intended to cover a maternity and childcare leave. The contract will legally terminate when the incumbent returns to their role.
What will be your roles and responsibilities in the team?
- Onboarding: drafts job offers, collects employees' documents, schedules the employment medical check-up and periodically organizes training in the field of health and safety, provides reports on these topics.
- Corresponds constantly by email or phone with payroll service providers, occupational health, health and safety protection.
- Human resources administration: collaborates with the HR Admin team, creates and updates employee files, issues employee certificates, manages individual employment contracts, including their creation, registration, modification and termination; operates the local HR system (True HR) to accurately maintain employee profiles.
- Timesheet management: collects data on vacations, overtime, working time through the HR system and provides data for payroll.
- Acts as the main point of contact for employee queries on various topics (e.g. holidays, performance appraisal, trainings, employee certificates, payslips, employee benefits, etc.)
- Collaborates with other FBS centers and with various departments in Romania and globally (Recruitment, Legal, Financial, Procurement, Internal Control, IT, Ford Credit, Customer Experience etc.)
- Participates in HR projects aimed at organizing events, creating policies, newsletters, salary and benefits studies
- Manages the transmission of monthly payroll data and ensures the payroll statement accuracy
Are we looking for you? Yes, if you have…:
- Advanced level of knowledge of English – written and spoken
- Expresses and writes correctly in Romanian
- 1-3 years of experience as an Analyst / Human Resources Specialist, ideal in multinational companies / shared service centers
- Good communication skills, accustomed to working in a multicultural environment
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Reasonable level of flexibility and adaptability (e.g. understanding the requirements to reset priorities in daily work)
- Approachable personality, reasonable degree of empathy regarding employees' requirements and priorities
- Results-oriented and customer-oriented
- Good analytical skills and attention to detail
- Used to working with numbers
- Knows the labor legislation applicable in Romania (certification as a Human Resources inspector or UNELM certification is an advantage).
- Bachelor's degree, ideally in economics, HR or adjacent (eg Psychology)
- Ability to work effectively in cross-regional and cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of MS Office at medium to advanced level (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge about the True HR system or other HR admin tools – is an advantage

The working schedule is 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday, and is carried out in a hybrid regime, involving presence in the office for 3 days out of the 5 working days. A different number of days of presence in the office may be required in the future, depending on local or global policies.
